Mother's Day Guest Bloggers

This Mother's Day, we decided to ask our senior moms for some words of wisdom to pass onto the moms with younger children. Today we are featuring two moms, Nicole Ryan and Lisa Manke.

Being a senior mom in 2020 is a new challenge! No classes, no prom, postponed graduations, and on and on. Our biggest challenge this year is trying to keep the excitement level at least at 'medium.'

This pandemic will end up being a life lesson to all of our children, not just the seniors, and will hopefully teach them that 'the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry,' and that sometimes you just have to punt.

We are all struggling to give our kids the best possible send off while at the same time keeping them safe. We all hope that the next chapter for them will be going off to school or work and finding their inner strength, with or without the mask.

Hooray for our 2020 Seniors and may all of your dreams come true!

“The days are long, but the years are short..." I know you have all heard this before.  And given the circumstances recently, the days have seemed extra long!  But as our second child is getting ready to leave for college, these words have been on my heart.  We are so grateful that we were able to capture senior pictures of our kids to mark this period of transition in their lives and working with Cindy is delightful!
